To ensure greater alignment between the five Agency of the Year awards and the Network of the Year results in the Creative Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year, Digital Agency of the Year and Specialist Agency of the Year categories, entrants must receive at least three respective awards (Gold, Silver or Bronze) in a minimum of two regions to qualify for the relevant category in the Network competition.
For example, to qualify for the Creative Agency Network of the Year award, entrants must have received at least three Creative Agency of the Year awards (Gold, Silver or Bronze) in a minimum of two regions (Australia/New Zealand, Greater China, Japan/Korea, South Asia and Southeast Asia).
Shortlisted agencies will be invited to submit an Asia-Pacific Network of the Year entry that highlights key regional achievements during the eligibility period.
For agencies that qualify for the Network awards, all the respective five Agency of the Year awards scores and entries will be shared with Network jury ahead of judging to ensure greater consistency in judging. Judges will award a Gold, Silver and Bronze award in each agency category if entries merit.
People Categories
- Asia-Pacific New Business Development Person/Team of the Year
- Asia-Pacific Planner of the Year
- Asia-Pacific Account Person of the Year
- Asia-Pacific Agency Head of the Year
- Asia-Pacific Creative of the Year
To qualify for the people categories, entrants must hold a regional role (3 markets or more). An entry is required to compete in these categories. Regional entries may be resubmitted to compete in the Asia-Pacific category provided the criteria is met.
Only winners and runner ups will be announced in the people categories.

- Asia-Pacific Brand of the Year
The Gold winners of the 5 Regional Marketer and Brand categories will be considered by the jury for the Asia-Pacific award. The award is at the discretion of the jury panel based on the Regional Agency of the Year entry already submitted ie. not necessarily awarded in each case.
